Just a few random shots of stuff while walking along the lane at sunset - day before yesterday. I like how the last rays of sun hit the fibers of the shaft of wheat - don't know what the red reflection was in the grass. What color are snake eyes??

Passing Through Vegas

A year ago we were passing through the Las Vegas area after dark. Had to make an unexpected trip to California for a funeral. People pass through our lives - sometimes like a brilliant flash. Always thought we had more time with you John. Love and miss you. (and this spontaneous series of Vegas shots helped me still meet my deadline)

We just happened to be passing the bridge at sunset, when I jumped out and started shooting. There were only about 5 other people doing the same thing. It's not an original photo by any means - but cool to have one that is my own.

Watercolor lily

Shot abt. 140 pic's on trip south. When I got home the beautiful bouquet from valentines day was just abt done. The roses were not photo worthy but the lilys were giving their last gasp to look beautiful. Here is a shot with a watercolor filter. Enjoy
